This is the short film compilation to support the people who had been menaced by SARS. The fatality rate of SARS is about 15%. It instantly infects from one to the other as you know. 13 year ago, we had been under the terror of a new virus “in real”.

我們不應該忘記，如何我們鬥爭了。而今《紅》的壓迫威脅著我們。

I revisited why the Hong Kong cinema keeps the best quality in the world. I saw again the earnest attitude of the Hong Kong cineasts. From this compilation, I learned to hold my brave at the moment of the catastrophe. We shouldn’t forget how we fought against it. Actually “Red” oppression menaces us.

My best story is the one by 林超賢. It was a comical story with the strong message of self-reliance against the threat. And the best casts. Then, the story of 周星馳 and 陳可辛.

I admire the Hong Kong cineasts who know their influence over the people. We always get the courage by our favourite actors or directors.

The compilation

1:99 電影行動 had been a mystery to me. I often found this title on the filmography. Every directors and actors are in this title! I didn’t know that Japanese edition DVD was available and this title was a short film compilation.

Finally I got a used DVD. It wasn’t expensive fortunately. The mystery was gone. This was what I must watch. This time, I appreciate to Japanese distributor. Thanks for the release of theis memorial title.

Japanese edition DVD

I think that this compilation film was not delivered in Mainland China and US. Japanese edition DVD includes the making and the director’s Cut of some films like the original edition. The most long content is the making. This is maybe the most interesting part. It’s about 45 minutes.
